Thank you for your interest in the Kenyon Review Summer Online Writers Workshops (June 23 - June 29, 2024). The application for this workshop consists of this online application form, a resume, and a writing sample. For poetry, submit 3 to 4 poems; for fiction or nonfiction submit between 5-20 pages of prose. For Translation, please include the work in the original language (source text) in addition to your translation (500 words of prose or a poem no longer than 3 pages). Please note, this summer's translation workshop is for beginners who are curious about translation.
We have limited partial scholarship funds to offer toward tuition for workshop participants who demonstrate financial need. All partial scholarships are granted on the basis of both merit and need. We especially encourage writers to apply who belong to underrepresented groups or underserved populations. If you would like to apply for a partial scholarship, please fill out the scholarship section.

The application for this workshop consists of this online application form, a resume, and a lesson plan. The lesson plan should be a brief (300 words or less) description of a favorite creative writing lesson plan (real or imagined) for high school students.
