Thank you for your interest in the Kenyon Review Writers Workshops Online. The application consists of this online application form, a resume, and a writing sample. For poetry, submit 3 to 4 poems; for spiritual writing, submit either 3 to 4 poems or 5-20 pages of prose; for fiction or nonfiction submit between 5-20 pages of prose.

We have limited scholarship funds to offer toward tuition to adult writers workshop participants who demonstrate financial need and have published in reputable literary journals (be sure to include publications in uploaded resume). All scholarships are granted on the basis of both merit and need. We especially encourage writers to apply who belong to underrepresented groups or underserved populations.

If you would like to apply for a partial scholarship, please fill out this section. To be considered for a scholarship you must submit your workshop application by January 29, 2021. Scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of February.

Thank you for your interest in the Kenyon Review Online Literary Translation Workshop (July 11-23, 2021). The application for the Online Literary Translation Workshop consists of this online application form, a resume, a translation sample, and the work in the original language (source text). Translation samples should be 500 words of prose or a poem (not longer than 3 pages).
